I was looking for a complete G22 slide to pair with my G34 lower, but for the same price I found a well loved LEO Gen3 and picked up a new RTF2 with Gills at the same time!

Both with 357 Sig conversion barrels, one threaded to see how it does with my 9mm suppressor.

I was concerned that the RTF texture would be too harsh, but I really love the feel. I don’t think the fish gills are noticeably grippier than the straight serrations, but it’s kind of cool to have the variation.

I wouldn't spend money on that. When I tested the G26 and G34 with the 147gr +P HST it was about perfect for a (barely) subsonic load.

The 357 Sig is a pretty loud round. I was just wondering what the sound drop would be when still supersonic when using a suppressor. I know it won't be as quiet, but if it still drops the noise 25dB, it might be a useful option. At some point, when my 10mm suppressor comes in, I'll rent a dB meter that is fast enough to measure gunshots.
I too would be interested in your results with non subsonics, makes more sense than making a 357 a 9

I know sciolist is kidding. He’s got a dry sense of humor like that. 9x45, I don’t know you well, so I’m going to assume you’re also joking. Either that or you really don’t read well. And you’re kind of an ass. I’m going to go with joking.

So for those who are able to read:

My 5.56 can is a M4-2000

The 9mm can is a YHM Sidewinder

That fits on a threaded 357 Sig barrel.

I got to shoot the suppressed 357 Sig today. It was WAY quieter with the can. Really dramatic sound suppression. The downside is that it sprays you a fair amount with gas and particles with the blowback.

It’s one of the reasons I got the Kriss Vectors. There’s no blowback due to the design and the low bore means no special sights needed.

So it’s possible and works very well for suppression. But I don’t know that I’d use it for Glocks with any regularity. Maybe for a 357 Sig PCC?
