Not long ago I strarted a thread about possibly selling my Gen 4-19 and replacing it with a second Gen 4-26 for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I seemed to score better with the G26 in pistol matches.
Well, the worm has turned.
In my last two matches, I've shot the G19 better. Which (of course) has forced me to reconsider my plans and, instead, sell the G26 with six mags and cash in my GSSF coupon on another Gen 4-19. I keep my Glocks stock, even down to the sights, with a dab of neon orange finger nail polish on the front sight (unless I can get my tritium front sight replaced and it lasts longer than a few months). So, it's basically a swap.
I already have six 15-round mags and with the purchase would have nine of those babies. I've been CC-ing the G19 in alternation with the G26 on my morning walks in a Little FoxX hybrid at 3:30 and, frankly, I can't tell the difference, even after an hour of walking. I've also tried sticking the G19 into the Galco Ultimate Second Amendment AIWB holster and it SEEMS to feel better than the G26 for some quirky reason at 12:30.
What say you? Am I crazy or just easily swayed? If I feel no discomfort with the G19 and I'm not overly concerned about printing (most of my year is spent in AZ), then why not have two copies of the identical gun? I can mount my tac light at night, take it off in the morning and CC around the community ... saving the other gun in the vehicle for in-and-out trips to stores of assorted types, as well as restaurants, bars, public events, etc. (yes, this IS Arizona).
Thanks for the input.
