I found this ad for a Gen 1 Glock 19. I told the seller that it's a 17. They have still not changed the listing. I wonder whether the bidders know that it's a 17. Its incredible that the seller leaves such misinformation up.
I emailed him before there was a bid. Pretty huge error. He could add info to the description which would appear as an edit. W such a huge error he should pull the listing and relist.
$1105 is quite high for a non-PB, non-even A prefix, used Gen 1 w/o even a manual. I think that it's quite possible that the buyer will be in for a big surprise when the gun arrives.
I have tried to inform, very politely, of listing errors.
I have been surprised that some sellers won't revise.
For example:
I saw a listing for a Glock 19C with a Gen 2 G19C stock picture.
I asked him please send actual pics.
He took the pics, sent a response, turns out it was a Gen 3.
I requested he please add to the description and upload these pics so as not to be confusing.
He did not reply, did not update, nothing. Could care less it seemed.
The Devil is in the Details. And a lot of listers on GB could care less, all they see is dollar bills. Incorrect listing or description is very common on GB. Alas, we drive on...
