I’ve noticed on my 17 gen 5 the slide stop has flattened out quite a bit and the slide closes with almost no effort and will also drop on a loaded mag without releasing
I’ve ordered a replacement however I’m wondering if I’m the only one?
If anyone with a decent round count on there gen 5 could post a photo of there’s I’d appreciate it
Yeah photo would help with this, as I am not sure where you are talking about. The area of the slide stop that moves up into the notch on the slide with an empty magazine is flat already.
The 5th gen slide lock is thicker and a heavier than previous models. I haven't heard of this happening with olders models.
The pics are blurry so I can't really tell much. I bet it'll work harden and not cause any real issue.
But it can't be tough to replace, so there's that.
With my iPhone, for closeups, I move it in and out. When the little yellow box shows up, I move it so the closeup piece is in the box. A lot of times, more light helps with focusing.
My competition Glocks do it consistently. Takes a reduced power recoil spring for my bunny fart loads, though. Just allows the slide to bounce enough to release the slide stop.

Me too and so happy to read this. My 34 does this and I've gotten very use to it while shooting a match. Looking forward to putting some wear on my 17.5
You can also tap on your screen the area you want to focus on. This will force a close focus if you are trying to get pics like this.
