Well I just picked up my glock 35. I had 2 model 22s. I traded one in. I like the fact that it has the extensions on the mag well and slide release. Is the 35 more accuate then the 22?? Does anyone know if the barrel in the 35 fully supported or is it like the model 22?

You will enjoy your 35. It's Glocks version of a 1911. I believe the 35 is one of the better shooting Glocks, not that any shoot bad, it's just the 35 seems to shoot better. Let us know what you think after you've shot it awhile. Best

Ran 300 rounds during the 1ST Virginia Glocktalk extravagaza shoot, very easy to shoot, berfore the shoot, I shot 200 rounds, no hiccup, I was surprised of the grouping, I don't remember shooting well from out of the box, usually it took a few 100 rounds for a decent grouping. Enjoy.M33

My Gen 4 G35 might be my favorite Glock.

They are no more accurate than a G22, but usually are a little easier to shoot accurately, owing to the longer sight radius and the - connector.

There is no more support in the G35 chamber than any other 40S&W Glock, which happens to be plenty and not something you should worry about, at all.

I found the same with my 34, vs my 19 and 26 accuracy wise. Once out past 15 -20yds the longer sight radius has an advantage when shooting unsupported. The advantage increases with distance. No real difference between them from the sandbags though, indicating it's not mechanically more accurate than it's shorter brethren, just easier to shoot.
I don't care for the - connector though and replaced it with an unmarked connector. Same as my other Glocks. I prefer it's crisper break, and shorter reset.
OP: The Gen3 and 4 .40's have good case head support. No worries there. Enjoy your new toy.

I had to sell a G35 and a .357 Sig barrel with some other pistols a while back for some quick cash. Honestly, if I had had a decent supply of 40 S&W and .357 Sig ammo, on hand, I would have kept it and sold something else, but I made $ on that gun, so it was a no brainer. I definitely want another with the same barrel. I'm just trying to decide if I want to sell a G41 to make it happen. I don't want to have to go into my pockets, again, for another Glock.

eta - I also do not believe it would be anymore mechanically accurate, though not every G35 will print the exact same group, or the G22, for that matter. I'd bet the farm the G22 will stay a little more mechanically accurate if you got both barrels extremely hot. More barrel length means more flex, but we're not talking about 1/2" at 100 yds accuracy. Off hand, you may not notice a diff.

I used to have a G-24, and had to let it go due to a cash crunch. That was many years ago. Let the G-17L, and G-24 go as a set, The guy wanted a set for him and his wife to shoot.
I had a wood box felt lined, and the two pistols with two mags each, fit like it was made for them.
Made money on that deal, and made two people happy, and made friends with them too. Get to see them when I go back to Houston.
