G26 w/15rd mag vs. G19 feel

Am I the only one who is actually compared the grip feel of a G 26 with a 15 round mag versus a G 19? Today I did the two repeatedly over and over again with dry fire practice one right after the other.

I have normal size hands and can actually say that you 26 with the extended magazine ( no x-grip or aids around the magazine) seems to fit my grip better and the bump in the back of the handle nestles in the middle of my palm and seems to make it feel more stable and comfortable. The 19 fills my grip better and feels more normal but doesn't give the same level of confidence of it being locked into my grip.

What are your thoughts? Anybody else tried them back to back? It does seem to be more obvious when you try them right next to each other.

Over a 10+ year period, I have owned both a 26/27 and a 19/23 at the same time.
I've had ejection problems with the longer mid-frame magazines in the sub compact guns and enough of a problem to not rely on them for daily carry.
While not an enormous front-back wiggle with the longer mags, there was enough to give me an occasional stove-pipe while using them (2-3 rounds out of 50, maybe?).
I've never tried any of the aftermarket sleeves; perhaps they alleviate any problems.
All that said, I have a friend who burns up at least 1k of 9mm every month and I've yet to see his 26 fumble with Glock's big old 33 round magazines!
Perhaps, not much help but an honest observation or two......

I train the way I carry. When taking the defensive handgun classes with the G26 I use a Pierce +2 base plate and my backup magazines are G17 magazines. I transition from one to the other with no conscious effort. My focus is on the drill and the grip on a long magazine feels totally comfortable to me.

I don't use a sleeve on my magazines because I use the same magazines on a G26, G19, and G17. I don't wish to bother with removing sleeves or paying the additional expense for no benefit.

I use the Pierce +2 on my 10 round carry magazine because I like the grip better and it conceals just as well on me. My spare magazine has a +6 competition base plate and conceals as well on me as a 10 round mag. It also quiets the inner argument as to whether to carry one or two spare magazines. YMMV

Training the way you carry in my opinion is the only way to train, unless you’re doing it just for fun. And even then, if you’re training just for fun and you train in different habits they could have a negative affect if you ever need to protect yourself or someone else under stressful situation. Training the way you carry in my opinion is really the only way to go.

I've played around with the full size magazines with and without an X-grip adapter in my Glock 26 and I don't feel that it adds that much. I like the way it feels, but I seem to shoot about the same either way.
Likewise, at seven yards, I seem to shoot the G19, G26 and G34 nearly equally as well.

What is the part number for this kit?
It's a kit that consist of the extension and insert but greedy sellers sell those as different parts:

https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=725199

No needs to change the spring, G26 comes from the factory with a 9 coil spring which is the same spring installed on G19 15 round mags!

This the only extension that I trust, have carry mines since 2005 and never had a problems with it!

Enjoy.
