My first Glock, purchased today. Someone commented on FB that the frame is "bent".

Is it purely cosmetic, or should I be concerned?

Did you function fire it first? Or did you go to FB first?*** The slide rides on the frame rails, not the frame. By the way, your recoil spring is wrong. The only thing you should look at is the sights.....

*** There is one forum on FB that is all about competition shooting, "Discover Practical Shooting" Not only know about Glocks, but all other platforms also. Another source is BrianEnos.Com Again, all competition shooters.

Of the 9 Glocks that I only have now, 4 of them have the dust cover touching the slide, the others don't.

Course it's probably to late for this one, with over 230,000 rounds..

Both of these are as new and have less than 20 rounds thru them each. Still had that sticky gloppy copper anti-seize on them. Purely back up G17s for competition and carry, got them at a killer price.
