Glock Gen 5 Mistake?

I personally believe Glock made a mistake by calling the civilian FBI Glock handguns the Gen 5. It made people believe that this was the new generation of Glock handguns, when it was not. The Gen 5 is basically the same as the "M" model Glock designed for the FBI. The FBI did not want the "M" model released for public sales, so the "M" model became the Gen 5.

If Glock would have released the two Gen 5 models as the "M" model, instead of the Gen 5, would there be such negativity. I don't think so, I believe the public would just have recognized that Glock was making available to Public the same handguns designed for the FBI, which many were asking for.

BROvet04 and GCBHM just need to screw and get it over with.

Anyhoo, shot my friend's G19-5 this afternoon. Put 100 rounds through it. It was ok. Didn't care for the front cut out on the mag well. Trigger seemed the same as my Gen 4 19. I'm going to stick with my Gen 4 and hold out for the MHS.

Lol is she a nice looking lady? Naw I’m happily married. I wouldn’t even though she is one of these! Genius or not! I always went for dumb ones. They spell genius differently in Birmingham AL.
