If You Were Going to Go with a Compact Traditional DA/SA Auto for CCW....What Would You Choose?

Hey all.
Starting tomorrow if you had to go with a DA/SA auto or revolver for Primary CCW use, what would you choose and why?

For those that are already carrying one of those type, what is it and why did you choose it over the multitude of striker fired pistols??

I'm curious to see how this turns out. It seems like the traditional SA/DA crowd are the stepchildren of the firearms industry. Everything must be striker fired these days. I like them too, but sometimes I like a regular SA/DA auto though.

If I had to pick, I think I'd go with either the HK P30sk
Or
CZ-75 PCR

What's your picks?

Thanks all.

Have a great week.

I bought this one in July. Runs so smooth; however, I shoot Glocks so much that the grip angle and high bore axis is just not for me. Plan to sell it and buy either a gen4 or gen5.

I have been battling deteriorating hips from sitting in Patrol Cars and wearing a Full Leather Duty Belt most of my LEO Career, I would imagine kicking in doors didn't help much either, so my Primary EDC recently has been a 9mm LCR, pocket carried if wearing traditional pants & in a bellyband if wearing sweats. I have been also toting a Murse most days, with a S&W Model 59 and 2 spare magazines.

I carried a G26 and then a G43 for a while but gradually settled on my first loves which were all DA/SA hammer fired guns....Beretta 92S, various revolvers like S&W M19 and Dan Wesson, and then Beretta 81, 82, and 84. I really liked striker fired guns but prefer the decocker style guns with heavy trigger pulls. Mostly because I come home often sweaty from being outside and the gun literally has water dripping or heavy beads of condensation. So I end up wiping the gun down at the end of a day. With a G43, this means jacking the round out and clearing the weapon which is an opportunity for an ND. With the Px4 I snap the decocker down and the pistol is inert. Trigger deactivated, firing pin turned out of alignment, hammer down. It's a brick now and can be wiped down and stored for tomorrow easily and safely.

Plus I carry Appendix and love the ability to holster my weapon during training with decocker down. Once the trigger is covered I click it up, half cock the hammer, and she's ready with a light crisp DA trigger pull.

I had one of these, back about 4 years ago. It was a great DA/SA handgun, holds 13+1 rounds, shot great, never failed a single time.

My only thing was, I shot the Glock 26 FAR better than this one, and one of my buddies shot it FAR better than I did. So we traded, I gave him this, and he gave me the S&W Bodyguard that has been my EDC ever since. Win win.

Having said that, either this or a CZ Rami, if I had to carry a sub compact 9mm.

I have a Sig SP2022 that I bought new for under $400 that is my beater, but is a bit large for regular CCW carry. I have carried numerous renditions of S&W J frames over the years, but I really like my Ruger LCR, I realize it is DAO, but the trigger is awesome and it carries so well.

This little gem is a very nice little carry gun that is rarely seen these days.

It is nice and thin, easy to shoot well, and quite accurate.

It is the DA/SA equivalent of a Lightweight Commander.

The S&W 4563 TSW
