Twice engaged with police when carrying. 1. Female officer responds to my call re: hitting a deer and my truck immobile in road. I was standing in the road as as she exited vehicle. Turned both hands palms toward her and said "I am carrying on a permit." Her response? "Oh, ok." 2. Stopped at 3:00am-driving my wife on a night call visit (she was a home care nurse.) My wife had suggested at last minute in the midst of a turn that we go straight. (Iam sure it looked impaired.) Hands on wheel.."I have to tell you I am carrying on a permit." Says he "where's the gun?" I say under my left arm in a shoulder holster. He says don't move and lifts my jacket to check. "Ok." License and registration.

No problem.
