Ok everyone, its time to announce the spring shoot for next year! This will be our 7th GT shoot in Bucks County, PA. They have all been an awesome time. Even last month's rain did nothing to dampen our spirits!

The following threads list our past six shoots over the last few years:

As always, we encourage as many people to make the shoot as possible. You will have a truly awesome time. Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who came to past shoots, particularly those who traveled a considerable distance to join us.

As I mention each time, this range is very safe and well organized, while still allowing for a great deal of fun. Our shoots likely include the nicest array of handguns of any shoot in the entire state of Pennsylvania. You will see custom and semi custom 1911s, high end and/or rare European pistols, and the best revolvers in the world. Having said that, we shoot handguns of all calibers and price ranges. As long as its legal at the range, nothing is out of the question. We shoot Glocks, M&Ps, XD's and the like as well. I even thought about bringing a Hi-Point once. Just bring what you have and some ammo. :)

The range opens at 9AM and I’m there at that time. I encourage everyone who wants to attend to get there between 9 and 11AM to have plenty of time to shoot. We generally shoot until mid afternoon. The charge is just $20 for the entire day, with an extra $20 for range badges for first time visitors.

Obviously, we have no date set yet, but the spring shoots are usually a Saturday in May. I'll do my best to make it on a day that suits as many folks as possible. Usually the spring date is set sometime in February. At that time, I'll update this post with the day of our choosing.

While its still a long way off, I encourage all past attendees to join me and as many first time members to make the trip as possible. After a long, cold, and dark winter, lets get out in the warm sun of May and have a really great time! I hope to see as many folks as possible to enjoy beautiful weather, friendly comradery, and some amazing firearms!

Please join us for another incredible shoot! :dancingbanana:

I had a great time even though I rode my motorcycle in the rain! Lots of fun stuff to shoot and great conversation! I think I did more talking than shooting! I managed to get reprimanded a couple of times by that RSO as well! He was just tryin to keep everyone safe so it's all good!

For anyone here who travels by air to such events, is the process of checking guns and ammo pretty painless? Any security issues regarding the luggage "disappearing" etc?

I don't think anyone that has gone to this particular event has flown in as of yet. I drive down from western ny I'm my RV and make a camping weeken out of it! I have seen threads about flying with firearms but have personally never done so myself.

I was born in Pennsylvania but only lived there until I was about a year old so I don't remember anything about it, but it would be nice to visit the town where I was born, (Berwick, southwest of Wilkes Barre) so thanks for the invite.
That's not a to far from where the range day is. I drove right by there on my way down from newyorkistan!

Sooner a decision the better. My logistics are a bit more complicated, owing to distance.

Brian, I would say that since this is your show, this gives you the priviledge of setting the date.

With great power comes great responsibility.

Thx!

I really look forward to these events, so I'm Hop in I can make it! Things are a little hectic right now. I'm leaving my employer in about a week and a half, I've already started Workin for the new employer! I also got hit on my Harley last week, the bike I'm pretty sure is totalled but I only ended up with some minor injuries so thank God for that! Things are a little bit so right now but will hopefully be straightened out by may!
