their CS top shelf.
I agree with that. IME, and I've been in the gun game many decades now, Ruger CS is right up there at the top. They'll do some amazing things: as an example, an acquaintance of mine decided to "EZ out" some scope mount filler screws from the receiver of a 10/22. Seems they were struck and he was boogering up the heads trying to remove them. Well...he punched an off-center hole in the aluminum receiver! A real Bubba job. Understandably pissed at himself, he sent the gun back to Ruger with a note saying "keep it or fix it, I don't care". Couple of weeks later he got a call from our LGS out of the blue..."come pick up your gun". Brand new 10/22, no charge. Ruger even paid the LGS service/transfer fee. Zero charge to the guy. I witnessed this little escapade myself. Amazing CS.

I've never been a big Ruger guy, but they always seem to "get it" and innovate unlike some other companies out there...and at a reasonable price also. This is on the heels of the 3" GP-100 in .44 Special. While I'm not going to be in-line to snag one of these new 10mms I do like receptiveness of Ruger.

I’m sure I will take a long hard look at any Ruger in 10mm. I want to find out if it will handle full house loads. I have a few 10’s already but you can never have too many. I keep my fingers crossed that a newly minted 10mm revolver turns up soon from S&W or Ruger as well.

I don't have a 10, but occasionally ponder them. Which 10s do you see as handling full house loads the best?

That's a legitimate concern and I'm familiar with the history of the first 1911 chambered for the 10mm, the Delta Elite. And it isn't as though a 1911 can't handle more powerful ammo considering how well the Clark 460 Rowland conversions work, although those are compensated guns and it isn't just a matter of using a heavier recoil spring.

I'd be curious to know what modifications Ruger made to the SR1911 to handle the higher pressure cartridge. Ruger generally over-engineers their guns and I doubt that they'd make these guns merely "adequate" for handling any kind of 10mm ammo.
