It doesn't trouble me whatsoever, I could literally care less how many you own. I was just saying that, if you're so paranoid about telling people how many you own ,you are nothing compared to this guy! Literally nothing.
Why would you label me paranoid simply because I don't agree with blabbering personal information on a public forum to total strangers? You've obviously taken a personal interest.
I have a good idea but don't know the exact number. Besides I have whole guns that shoot, whole guns that are just wall hangers, enough gun parts to build 2 or 3 guns but are not assembled and lots of other gun parts.
I have more than most and less than some. I also suspect those yacking most of government privacy intrusions are really petrified of the MMA beatdown their spouse would inflict if the true size of their toy collection were discovered.
Y'all keep this in mind next time someone starts a thread whining about their doctor asking about guns. Well he's going to put it in a government database... Lol!
I own seven. Eight if you include the pellet pistol.
He has a lot of cool weapons for sure. I'm not paranoid one bit about posting what I have. All my weapons are secure and the gov knows most of what I have anyways.
Functional guns... 5 all pistols unfortunately.
96? Thanks for letting us know. Not that it's a problem but I live with someone who is afraid that somehow the government is going to get pissed off and come visit us if we own more

So, as an ancillary but thread related query how many of you refuse to allow a picture of one of your guns to be posted (pic) with serial number showing?
It is often said on these forums how a gun is just a tool, but anyone who has a vast number likely thinks of guns as objects he values as a collector, not necessarily as useful tools. I truly think of guns as tools, and since I don't hunt, the tools are for personal and home defense, with a few 22LR for target practice to help keep my minimal skills up to date in general. I used to have a larger number of guns, but at some point a few years ago I decided I wanted simplification. I now own a couple for concealed carry, a few loaded and strategically placed around my home for self and home defense, a few aforementioned 22 target pistols and exactly one for sentimental reasons. That one is one I have kept just because I think it is about the perfect handgun, it is what I think of when I think of the stereotypical gun: a S&W Model 19 nickel plated 357 magnum K frame revolver. I also keep a 12 gauge pump, for just in case scenarios. But how many is the exact number is irrelevant and no one's business but my own.
