Yeah it's hard to tell at this point. I'll keep my eye on it but won't be convinced until more information surfaces. If it is true, would've liked to see more of an undercut trigger guard.
I doubt the real deal would have "gen 5" stamped on the slide. Glock has never stamped the "generation" number on the weapon. . . At least not that I know of.
You're right, I have 2 gen 4's. I have for years. How did I never notice that? That was my blond moment for the night. I think I'll quit while I'm behind, lol.
If that's not a photoshopped pic, I see they kept the likely uncomfortable semi-circular cutout on the front strap that is the reason why I don't like the feel of the gen2.
The Gen 5 I was able to shoot is a two pin frame in a Glock 17. I haven't seen a 19 but I'm assuming it will also be two pins. When it was disassembled I didn't look extremely close but it may be done that way to accommodate the ambidextrous slide stop. If they eventually do come out with the same gun in a .40 it'll be interesting to see what they do.
