I'd probably want a fragile bullet for SD, dump as much energy into said target as possible and limit over-penetration.

You are using a caliber intended for 20 lb. rodents. May I suggest something in a .30 caliber and up for use on a tough 200 lb potentially dangerous animal. A Mini-30, 7.62 X 39 loaded with Winchesters ammo designed for boars would be a step in the right direction.
ARX in my bedside rifle. Frag grenade type damage with minimal over penetration risk.
