Picked up my P320RX purchased from a fellow Sig Forum member. She looks like new, though I believe it was taken on one range trip before I bought it. I have a P320C with Trijicon HD sights already but the RX kinda fell into my lap. Anyway I took it out today and put about 60 rounds thru it without a hiccup. I really like these P320s they handle well, have a good trigger out of the box, and come with good sights. Think I'll keep a couple. First ten rounds from the 7 yard line, then the pair together in a Sig family photo.

Nice, could be my first SIG.....deciding between compact and service sized.
Berto, I just picked up a slightly used P320 Compact yesterday, and I got it to the range today. It shot very well; as you said, nice trigger action, easy-to-see sights. I ran about 250 rounds through it, including 150 JHPs of various weights and brands; no stoppages with anything at all. I shot it literally side-by-side with a G19 (loaded both and laid them on the shelf; picked up one and shot it, laid it down, picked up the other and shot it, repeat), and there is very little difference in recoil/flip between them. The Glock seemed to slap me ever-so-slightly harder, and the SIG muzzle-flipped just a tiiiny bit more, but if they hadn't been shot side-by-side I never would have been able to tell. The G19 shot slightly better groups, but it's not a fair comparison at this point, as I shoot it quite regularly, and this was my first time out with the SIG.

I will mention that the 15-shot Compact 9mm factory mags are like unobtanium right now (out-of-stock everywhere), so if you want spare mags off the shelf TODAY, the service-size pistol might be the way to go.

--------------------------

got2hav1, I handled one of those P320RX models at two different stores (and liked them both), but I just couldn't bring myself to drop the cash on one (lowest price I saw was $850), as I still feel the optical sight is so new as to be unproven. If the sight holds up well in the long run, I predict these will be VERY popular pistols.

If I had the MOOLAH! Id want something to carry. Right now I carry a G17 and a G26 will be more for summer. The Compact would be my 1st Choice 15 Round magazines and 3.9 inch barrel. I shot one once ten rounds . EXTREMELY NICE.

My compact 320 is very nice .I bought a sub compact module frame for it without the light rail and made it even nicer.I like it better then my Glocks now that I have shot it more.Like the ergos of the grip much better. Don't need any aftermarket parts for it to make the trigger better.

Mine was an impulse buy too right at the time my wife was buying her M&P 2.0 just down from me.My friend who works at the LGS broke it all down for me so that I could see how it all was made and put together.I seen quality right off the bat so decided to buy it.I didn't even have any intentions of buying another gun.I don't need anymore guns, didn't want anymore but then they don't sell pills over the counter to solve my problem.I will not get rid of my P320.Some guys can knock them all they want but I use my own common sense.

Ok,now you guys did it.All this talk about the P320. So my game plan is going to be doing my stretching exercises, walking down my drive way for 2000 feet with my walker, have my wife set up a target and I will shoot my 320 and have the wife pick up my brass because I am not allowed to bend over yet.Sounds like a full day to me.
