I have a chance to purchase or trade for an Arsenal Strike One that a friend of mine has. I've read up a little on the gun and had a chance to handle it a little and am on the fence. It has an extremely low bore axis and a unique firing system, and my buddy says he's never experienced any kind of malfunctions. The thing is these pistols cost a bit more than the competition and I'm not sure if they're really worth the price. He's asking $675 and we really haven't discussed what he would take for trade. These things are pretty scarce in my area so im thinking that maybe i should just go for it. Thoughts or opinions anyone?
I've had one for a while. It's a great pistol and makes most the "popular" polymers on the market feel like junk, especially the models that feel like junk in the first place.
Its a quality gun and shoots very well. I wonder how many of the naysayers have ever shot one...
It does seem like a quality firearm. The one I'm looking at is in great shape as well. I'm willing to pay a little extra for quality. Thanks for the reply bac.
Having shot BAC's I believe
He is spot on with his comments.
Its a unique pistol with limited numbers.
Shoot it and judge for yourself.
You will not encounter many at your local range, so there is that cool factor.
I was shooting USPSA when these first came out. The range store had sevsral and were pushing them hard. I looked at a few and even disassembled one. They are interesting.
I've been interested in these. But I'd like to shoot one before I buy.
See if you can shoot it if you haven't then decide.
