When do y'all suppose we'll see the 44?

And with all their current models what possibly could it be?

I don't think they will produce a Glock in 22cal.
It is very hard to find a 22cal round that would live up to the Glock dependability. They vary from batch to batch.
How often do you get a Dud round, some times if you eject one and put it back in and it will fire on the second try sometimes it won't.
Several companies have Conversion Kits, and some of them work very good, and some don't.
I have an Advantage Arms Kit that works very good.
The AA Kit has a Lifetime Warranty.
I have had it for 12-15 years now.
I started having some problems with Function, and thought it was wore out. I contacted AA and they said to send it back with all mags. They went through it end to end, Replaced the main spring, polished the feed ramp, replaced a mag spring, gave me another mag, and sent it back, no charge. Less than two weeks, Door to Door. It now works like it did when brand new. They also called me to tell me what they had done to it, and ask if I had any other problems that they needed to look at.
I have had two other brands of Kits, that just didn't work right, and couldn't any help from the factory.

I agree. I don't see them making a .22lr. As much as I'd like to see it happening. GLOCK seems to be more in the "battle weapon" market and that's just not the .22lr. I'd also like to see Glock make a 1911, but I don't see it happeing either. A strictly striker fire weapon company making a 1911 would be blasphemy to some. Lol

I'm not going to hold my breath waiting on a G44. Outside of a few niche guns, Glock has the market pretty well covered. I just don't see them designing a new frame platform for a small market. It took them years to finally address the single stack CC craze.

I see them working to refine a Gen 5 across the spectrum before a model 44. :dunno:

5th Friday in December. An early New Years present. I have this out of Gastons mouth hisself. A GLOCK carbine in 10mm with a GLOCK revolver also in 10mm. Ala, a Smith 610. Really, right out of his mouth. A 22 caliber version with 100 round magazine for the SHOT Show. AND, also a backpack mini gun with 30,000 rounds also in 10 mm for the utmost in versatility... Should I go on?

So because the 10mm is a fairly hot round and you need the mass of a wider slide in the 29 to keep it manageable and not destroy the gun. People have mentioned a 36 width slide being too light. What if you lengthened it enough to keep the mass of the 29 but the slimmer width of the 36. Would a Glock 23 length slide have enough weight? If so, add a bit to the grip and end up with a single stack 10mm and a 4 to 4 1/4 inch barrel.

I don't think you will ever see a Glock 44. They'd have to come up with an entirely new frame for such a thing. I have never seen a polymer 44 magnum semi auto. The only 44 magnum semi auto I have seen and shot is the Magnum Research Desert Eagle. Lots of stopping power but impractical except as a predator defense weapon out in the wild. Very finicky about the ammunition that can be used in it.

Like I stated earlier, I don't think you will ever see a Glock 44. Too impractical, no market for it, and not worth the expense to produce.

There will eventually be a G44. It's because it's next in the chronological line. What it will actually be, no one knows. This is simply a wishing thread.
