I've noticed that there are many of these "pic threads" in the firearms forums, so I figured I would start one for us to share our knife collections! Be sure to include details! I'll be posting mine as soon as my new CRKT comes in!

I am an edged weapons man.

Here we see an example of the first Arkansas Toothpick, probably Bowie, pre civil war. The blade is 10". The tang would allow the knife to be carried in the boot and easily drawn into action. A sweep downward with the hand and back up in the blink of an eye. The outer sheath is canvas, he inner is wood which protects the blade. The waterproof canvas leads me to believe this was used on or near a river, probably the Mississippi.

The first one I got was purchased direct from Michal through his Instagram sale for $825. The second was purchased second hand a few weeks after the original owner purchased it direct from him through an Instagram sale. It was originally posted at $850 I paid the seller $875 to help with fees and shipping (that was my max I was willing to pay over), I think he had slight buyers remorse lol. The seller had it on eBay with quite a bit of mark up. I offered him a quick sale since I knew what it was originally sold for. I will say this though, Michal does have some knives with options that do drastically raise the price, mainly his knives done in timascus or black timascus scales and or clip. Also he prefers to use Nitro V steel I believe , but recently obtained AEB-L when Nitro wasn't available. Which these are done in. I'm no steel expert now, though AEB-L and Nitro V are similar, I think Nitro V is slightly better and a little more money. So if your place has a knife done in Nitro V with black timascus scales the price could be $1300+, which he had some go for over that on an Instagram auction before. Plus the fact that he never makes the exact same knife twice some people try to make some money on them.

Best way to get one is follow him on Instagram and turn on post notifications and jump on one as fast as you can when he posts a sale or auction. [emoji482]

Here is an example done in black timascus and Nitro V he sold for $1300 shipped

Thanks for the quick response, Mebbe he’s not gouging as his prices are right in that range!
