After watching a detailed takedown video on YouTube, CZ did a great job of copying the Glock. The Glock is easier to take apart!

The differences may be:
CZ may have a better trigger
CZ grip may be more comfortable (I have 2 and they are great)
CZ has no finger grooves
CZ is cheaper
CZ barrel lugs are more robust
CZ is 2.4 oz heavier

They are both made by reputable companies with years of experience and a great track record. You can't go wrong with either of them.

I am wondering if any of the featurrs on the CZ were perhaps not copied from Glock. Seeing as how think CZ has been around even a few years before Glock.

Its always good to wait a year or two for early adopters to iron out the MiM parts, brass to face, failures to feed or eject, loose sights, cracked locking blocks, etc....

Having trained extensively and comfortable with my 1995 Glock 19, I can't say that I would run out to buy the latest and greatest because of "better trigger" claims.

Good for new folks, buying guns for the first time---maybe.

I have looked at two CZs. I am not that impressed. The triggers were simply not that good and somewhat inconsistent with each pull. One of the managers told me that of the ones they had gotten in the triggers had been inconsistent from pistol to pistol. I did not like the small stick me trigger either. The mag release button was triangular, small, a bit sharp on the edges and needed a hard push to release the magazine. Doing this for repetitions could get painful. The rtf seems a bit too aggressive to me. The ergonomics were a bit better than a Glock. I passed on buying it twice now.

What model, P series or 75 series? I take it that these were new in the case.

With dry firing,(or live), the parts wear in. With either series, this happens with their triggers. As I type this, I am doing a side by side comparison with a gen 2 19 and a P-09.

The stock mag release on the 19 is a triangular shaped release and I have to exert more pressure on the Glock to mag release than I do the CZ. The CZ mag release is 3 sides exposed on the release, the Glock is basically 2, with a smidge of a 3rd exposed, but barely.

With the new CZ P-10c, CZ did not use the low bore axis slide inside the frame configuration that is used on the P-09, 07, 01.
