Hola,
I haven't heard of anyone reporting on the ISSC M22 in a while. I can say that mine didn't even rate being called a paperweight when I got it but after sending it back it eats anything hogh velocity. My only problem has been the rear sight walking over time.
I thought you were talking about a satellite or space station from the title, lol, honestly. I've no knowledge of the presumed .22 but I will say it's been an ongoing struggle to find anything .22 that's "I will bet my life on it reliable." (The caliber aspect is inconsequential to my point.) Good to hear the vendor came through for you. Did they provide notes on what work they performed?
I had a new one in the box and never fired it. Wound up trading it off for something else that I was sure to fire so I cant answer any opinions on it. It was definitely cool although I didnt like the extra "control levers" on it.
I've tested mine and found it to be reliable (and fun!) with CCI mini mags, hollow point or cprn, as well as Federal Automatch, AM-22. Don't bother trying it with most bulk ammo, you'll regret it.
The sight picture is exactly the same as factory Glock fixed sights, for those that aren't in the know.
My slide release doesn't work, never has, I just pull back on the slide a bit and she's good to go.
If you want the plain black version, sign up for Smoky Mountain Guns newsletter or alerts. If I got another, I'd like the threaded barrel version because... Why not?
