This question may have been asked before, but I've never seen it posted so I'll ask it again.
How many times have you changed out you're carry weapon in a single day?
My personal high is 3 time's in one day. Just wondering if I'm alone in being OCD about changing Carry guns to adapt to changing situations on different days.

I read about people doing this. I also read about them changing during warmer months, or can't carry XXX because of XXX.
Sorry I don't get it. I rarely change my carry, no matter what. Pick a good one and stay with it. Learn to use it and become proficient as well. You get all of that, I'm sure.
I will occasionally change guns if I change clothes, like doing yard work on an afternoon off and then going out for the evening and needing my pocket pistol.
Seldom to never. If going to truck or mail box might take j frame. If outside and might run into a snake might take a j frame loaded with 22 shot. Other than that it's pretty much one gun for everything.
I do now and then for different reasons. Almost 68 yrs old with Spondylolisthesis that is
aggravated at times by a heavier ie: 1911 or P220, P226, weapon and I'll switch to my S&W
340PD or Sig P938 or other lighter weapon.
Also, if I'm going to the city, I'll go for P220 and when I get home, if I'm going to be out and
around on the farm, I may switch to my S&W M29 if in an area where the coyotes or feral
hogs are a possibility. If just relaxing around the yard or doing yard work, I'll go for one of
my XDs', either the 9mm or .45. If I'm working around the old barn, a Taurus Public Defender
Poly will be on my side loaded for copperheads. Dang near got bit just the other day cleaning
some honeysuckle off the back of one of the old feed sheds.
There can be many reasons for changing. I own at last count over 40 handguns of all kinds
and useful for many different purposes. It'd be foolish not to take advantage of it.

I swap out my EDC gun for my bedside gun as soon as I get home from work, every day. I don't think I have done more than those 2 (if you dont' count range sessions or competition).
Same EDC all day, every day, for the most part. I only carry iwb or on the ankle (not often). I'm a proponent of training to muscle memory. Same location from draw, same grip weld, same control locations, etc...I don't want to have to think about anything, but breaking contact, if the situation were to arise, FWIW.
I start the day with my 92 Compact. If I have to dress that requires a tucked shirt, I'll switch to my 43. If we go to the movies, I'll usually switch to my 19, since the 92 doesn't have night sights.
I Change my EDC twice a year. Warm weather (80 degrees and above here in the south) I carry my S&W 9mm hammerless "J" frame revolver inside the waist for about three to four months. Rest of the time it's the Glock 31 gen 4 357Sig in a Kydex or Fobus plastic holster. I'll change holsters more often then weapons due to the high temp and humidity in Coastal South Carolina.
Never same day I don't guess, just seasonal/depending on clothing. G19 winter months and Shield or LCR during warmer weather. Shield more than any other recent year or two.
Sometimes, but generally only if the gun I'm carrying is unsuited for what I'm doing.
I.E. replacing my 9 & 10mm with a 44 and hard cast when I go hiking or vise versa when I return.
