Hi All, Can someone explain the difference between the UG and PG prefix. I'm specifically looking at the G41 UG4130103 PG4130103 ?
I'm guessing this info is posted already just can't seem to find it.
Thanks In Advance

All pistol item numbers starting with U are USA made. FWIW, there won't be any such pistols in .357SIG, .45GAP, or 10mmAuto, because pistols in those three calibers are made in Austria and thus have PINs starting with P.
Thanks for all the help guys. So next question: Do I try to snag an Austrian 41 or US? Is there any opinions on which are more desirable? I'm leaning towards the Austrian.
Some experts praise the Austrian model for its delicate yet unctuous texture and distinctive austere bouquet instilled from the cloud-drenched temperate Austrian rain forest region. Others accept only the American model, with its subtle hints of mild north Georgian peach pit and tart swamp gas, unlike anything possible outside Tibilisi's southern climes. Aficionados of the Austrian consider that view saucy and impertinent. Advocates for the Georgian hold firmly that the Austrians are full of s#it.
So...that's pretty much the whole story..every detail.
lmao That's a keeper there. Beautifully written. I'm leaning toward a sample from the rain forest region. That environment makes the slide more durable almost indestructible.
Both my Glocks are Austrian made/assembled. However, I can detect a tart swamp gas odor when firing them on an outdoor range during a mild rain storm.
They must ship from a distribution center in Georgia. I'm going to change-out the OEM parts to see if I can get the smell to dissipate.
