My son bought me a S&W 357 revolver for my birthday in early 2015 to make up for all the things of mine he broke, over the years and I let him buy it for me. I started to acquire reloading toys shortly afterwards. I started out with a Lee Breech lock single stage press kit. After reloading about 1,000 rounds on the single stage press, I was ready for a more productive way to reload. I started watching YouTube videos on all the different types of Lee turret and progressive presses. They all said "you need to be good at tinkering with things" and all had issues with the primer systems. I remembered seeing those Blue presses in the videos that seemed to have a lot fewer problems with primers and basically everything else. I saved up my money and went with the Dillon 550b (3 agonizing months in lay away). I now have four tool heads set up to reload 9mm, 45 ACP, 38/357 and 40 S&W/10mm. I have them all set up with the Lee 4 die sets and Lee Auto Drum powder measures. Some day I'll use the Dillon powder measure to reload 223 for my son's AR15. It's hard to imagine all the money I'm saving by reloading my own ammunition (seriously, I just got it for when reloading supplies or ammo dry up again).
I don't have my Glock 20 yet (I have it in lay away - 10% down and 10 % per month), I hope to only have it in lay away for 3 - 4 months total. I got 1,000 10mm cases of Starline brass, 500 - 180 gr. Xtreme bullets, 100 Hornady 180 gr. XTP bullets, 6 pounds of Blue Dot, all set for a welcome home party for it in the Spring of 2016.
Edited May 01, 2016: I bailed out my Glock 20 (Gen. 3) two days ago and looking forward to the weather clearing up, so I can go try it out.
