    Yes, you can: Freemake

It's also 'FREE', with the following caveats:

    1) The default installation also installs some other stuff you definitely don't want: Adware This can be avoided by merely selecting the 'Custom' installation and de-selecting those optional programs.

    2) It also installs 'add-ons' for your browsers. I don't recommend those, either, and the 'fix' is the same: Deselect them and don't install them. If you do, I would bet apples to oranges that your web traffic is tracked by the extensions.

    3) The program runs fine as a standalone, but it's sort of like a mini browser, and it presents you with an ad (usually for some 'app') in the main window each time you run it. The 'fix' here is easy: Just don't click it.

On a related note, if you use Ccleaner, it will 'clean' your Freemake trail.

    HTH :wavey:

This will not go well. Youtube terms of service violations, Eric's desire to keep illegal stuff off the site...

Maybe it will and maybe it won't, but your so-called 'input' is so far off-track it isn't even funny.

    Freemake is free. Period.

What YOU do with it is YOUR problem.

    Alles klar? <--- Rhetorical Question ONLY: I don't give a ****.

Not advising you to do it, but one way would be to download the HD MP4 Video with keepvid, and then use Sony Movie Studio to extract the HD quality audio..

So encouraging use of the software in blatant violation of youtube terms of service, and then washing your hands of the fallout because it's not your problem.

    Heart of gold, you have.
