Just got my S&W 610, and it came with three moonclips. First gun that needs them - wondering if anybody has favorites?

Wilson Combat. I'm not sure they make them in 10MM but the 45s are great.

Their spring kits are excellent also.

For the 610, I suggest going with STEEL Moonclips that are SOLID, rather than the metal ones that have the "Split" arms...the SOLID steel ones work MUCH BETTER than anything else, in my experience...

IF Tom Kilhoffer @ "Moonclips.com" sells the solid ones, he's who I'd buy 'em from...his 'Clips to fit the eight-shot 627's and 327's are "Da' Bomb"...

Yeah, I think that pretty much clarifies the issue right there. I've seen Ranch Products recommended highly before, but their 10mm are the "split" type, as are the OEM S&W moonclips that come with the 610.

Looks like moonclips.com carries both types:

    http://moonclips.com/cart/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=30&cat=.40+S&W+/+10mm

I think I'll order a set of the solid/heavy duty ones and use both those and the OEM ones and see how they both fair.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like TK Custom bought the Hearthco designs:

I confirmed via email that the stainless steel versions of the moonclips by TK Custom is the Hearthco design.
