.........You believe the .223 and the 5.56 are two different rounds.........
That pic looks familiar.
Nope, she's prettier than that.
You might be a gun nut if: You start looking for divorce papers when you find out a hottie has more guns than you and your spouse combined....
If you've shot down a tree with .22 lr ammo using a single-shot rifle.
I used to get marraige proposals every time I posed a new gun around here.
Gun Collector or Gun Nut?
You may have heard on the news about a southern California man put
under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100
guns and allegedly had (by rough estimate) 100,000 rounds of
ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.
My favorite quote from the dimwit television reporter: "Wow! He has
about a quarter million machine gun bullets." The headline referred
to it as a "massive weapons cache."
By southern California standards someone owning 100,000 rounds would
be called "mentally unstable." Just imagine if he lived elsewhere:
In Arizona , he'd be called "an avid gun collector."
In Texas , he'd be called "a novice gun collector."
In Utah , he'd be called "moderately well prepared", but they'd
probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a
corresponding quantity of stored food.
In Montana , he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy."
In Idaho , he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate."
In Wyoming , he'd be called "an eligible bachelor."
And, in Wisconsin , he'd be called "a deer hunting buddy."
And, on GlockTalk, you would be a "Gun Nut"......
And in Alabama he'd be a typical neighbor!
And around here, it'd be "Meh."
If you've ever awakened at 0230 to take a whiz and being wide awake decide to see if anything interesting had come in on email only to find an alert that a new post had been added to the Lighter Side on GT, and was disappointed because by 0500 you knew you needed to get more sleep but you were only half way through the thread...and reading it was more riveting than a Robert Ludlum novel.
If you ever got up from your computer while reading this thread because you HAD to go #2, and went to get your smart phone so you could keep reading the thread while 'sitting on the porcelain throne'.
