I just picked up this beautiful 6" S&W 19-6 at my local shop for $350 OTD. The 19 is one Smith that I've always wanted but never bought before now. As you can see, its in very nice condition and the price was certainly right. Though I don't have the exact year of manufacture, I believe this version of the 19 was introduced in the late 80's. I would have preferred an older pinned and recessed model, but I guess I have enough pinned Smiths at this point. I do like the fact that it has the flat style front sight instead of the ramped version. I've always preferred both the looks and the sight picture better with the flat type. The bluing is in like new condition, but is definitely more matte in appearance than some of my older Smith revolvers. Anyway, I've always wanted one of these classic K-Frames and now I have it. These pics aren't the greatest, but I'll take some new ones when I have better lighting. Any thoughts on the 19? Thanks! By the way, this is the fifth classic vintage handgun that I've found in excellent to near mint condition so far in 2012. Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
