    Yep,'s another one.

    Decided to try out a piston upper. I have an Adams Arms Tactical Elite
    on the way!


    Adam Arms 14.5" midlength Tactical Elite upper
    14.5” Melonited barrels
    M4 ramps
    Chambered in 5.56 NATO
    1:7 mid length
    12" quad rail
    Surefire adapter

    Congratulations, I think you will like it. I have one of their carbine length uppers and it runs really good, no malfunctions whatsoever (more than 4k rounds on it - usually run it 500 rounds on range trips) and is easy to clean. My best group at 100 yards is .94" using 55grain mass produced reloaded ammo, rifle has mil spec trigger.

    I have a cmmg 16" carbine, suns great so far. Very clean running gun.

    Put 300 rounds in through it yesterday. About 1000 total.

    Was thinking about getting a piston CMMG when I bought my last AR, but I went with the DI CMMG M4 because spare parts for the system of MUCH more widely available.

    Shooting my Mini-14 after shooting my ARs I see the advantage of gas pistons, no damn fouling in the action!

    Got it very lightly used,.......$650. Not bad considering it's $1100 new
