You mean the locally built SAM X9?
    It's a semiauto pistol only.
    Papormang cheesebox lang yan.
    :)

now, that's a relief!hahahaha i guess i was just shocked to see that on a security guard checking my baggage while he unloads his weapon to show his parner that his x9 uses a 9mm instead of theri usual 38 special.

Makalampas ka man na walang sugat or FTF...
seguradong mapapa-mura ka sa 'accuracy' niyan.
You couldn't hit the broad side of a bahay-kubo
    ...from the inside.
    ;)

Still, it's a matter of form and function:
It intimidates, and that's half the battle won if you're
talking about 'jaguar' use. The MAC and Uzi aren't
lavished praise for their accuracy either. Reliability
should be a matter of intelligent fluffing and buffing
    lang naman.

I wouldn't mind owning one, if only to mess around with
mechanically. I only got a glance at the X9 innards once,
and it looked like a closed-bolter... but don't quote me
    on that.

An X9 Vs. Improvised Bomb? No contest.

Mas pantakot pa yan ng civilian na malamang tamaan kapag ginamit itong X9 sa LRT. Imagine a Mac/Uzi style weapon on a crowded place like a Manila train station. Suskopo! What were they thinking?

If the aim is to intimidate JI or the likes, I would deploy teams of German Shepherds or Labradors. But that's just me.

11k lang pala price noon kala ko 13.5k yung nasa website mismo?
the new design comes with suppressor, front grip handle & other modes on the frame.

the one i saw last feb. was the modified x9 & it is far more presentable than the one in the website.
aestithecally ok, pero was not able to fire it though kaya don't have any idea about it's accuracy & performance.

saw also the new m16/m4? type design shotgun proto-type of Shooters.
shottie shells are loaded via the m16/m4? type magazine.

i think i have to bring this matter/comments to the attention of Mr. Rhone De Leon.

The SAS12 shotgun uses PLASTIC box magazines.
I do worry about impact resistance.

The M4gery furniture on the SAS12 is kinda neat, but I wonder if
there isn't excessive, unwanted torque operating the pump action,
given the use of a vertical foregrip for the task: the torque
means faster wear on rail, and possible fatigue of the polymer.

thanks for the info horge. :)
was not familiar about the new shottie desin from SAM, kaya wala ako idea papano gumagana yung loading ng shell to the tube.
pero as you say, pump action of those shotties are really ment for horizontal operation & not vertical.

i just hope that when SAM makes any new firearm design, they should be very mechanically challenge to provide more infos & specs to make their products more durable & functions well.

para naman kahit papaano ay magkakaroon din sila ng chance to have a good place in this kind of business.

Palagi nalang kasing napag-iiwanan ng Norinco & Armscor kaya tuloy ayaw man lang subukan ng ating mga kababayan. (kahit na ok naman ang quality lalong-lao na sa 1911. ;) ;) )

googled for SAS12 shottie pictures & found some.
the design of SAS12 is not the same as to the SAM's new shottie.

the new shottie of SAM really looks like a small M16 rifle, but a bit bigger than M4 rifle?? :headscratch:

    Hmmm....

    A new shotgun, eh?
Punta akong SGAC this Tuesday, to see if they have a unit,
and I'll try to get pics and specs of this new scattergun.
Kung maganda, 'yan na lang ang bilhin ko (tsk, tsk.. gusto
ko rin sana ng bagong Metro Arms/FireStorm 1911. I wonder
if I can afford both? )

    yup bago nga design horge.
kala ko kasi yun yung model na SAS12, but when i check the pix yung mags lang ng SAS12 ang kamukha.

unit introductory price is 16k, please try to check if they have this in SGAC back there & post pix. :)
wala kasi ako dala cam when i went to their factory.
basta i am sure it's a copy of m16/M4 rifle.
