I did some work for someone and part of the deal were 4 15K drives. They looked like sata but are in fact SAS. Seagate Cheetah drives 15K 7. speed 64 M cache 300 gig. They're in a clamshell case and don't seem as if they have ever been installed. I have no way to test these, but I assume they are new. I would like to trade these for:

    A Crucial 250GB SSD
    4 GIGS of Ram
    and
A Western Digital 500 GB velicoraptor 10,000 rpm drive sata

I'll send these out first so someone can evaluate them, so there's no risk on your part.

    Any takers?

  2. You might have better luck selling those drives and using the cash to buy the things you want. SAS drives are not for home use (typically) but businesses use them.

    Sent from my orifice.

Thats what I thought. Fleabay buyers can be a pain at times, though. I guess I'll try it. Thanks.
