Samuel Adams is a 21st century domestic terrorist. Don't believe me? Simply speak and act as Sam Adams did and let us know what happens.
  2. BS! You're obfuscating the issue, and that is that FNC and Todd Starnes in particular, are reputable sources of information, especially considering the state of the media colossus in 2013 America.

As for your reach with the Ahmadinejad speech, you are trying to pick nat **** out of pepper, you are also implying that you have some personal insight into the Persian people that is all but impossible for you to possess....

Only idiots, or hardcore socialist baseheads are buying the pablum that the assault on Christianity is all some sort of conspiracy theory, its all right there, right in front of your noses....

    Care to explain?

If anything, Christians are still being given preferential treatment by the military; they don't have to clean **** up every Sunday morning during BMT/BCT.

Yep. At the very least, part of it is false and part of it may be the result of the nut who taught the class. I have never been taught anything like that and a lot of people in the Army make me look like a liberal.

We still have military bibles with camo covers and our unit patch on the front and things like that.

So, this FOX News article tells me, Obama is forcing our male Marines to wear "girly" hats.

In response, the official website of the U.S. Marines said that was not true on their official webpage, but FOX has not retracted their article.

Considering how many of you watch FOX News... and ONLY FOX News... I guess the Marines must be liars now? I always knew the USMC was a socialist organization...

And, the IRS is not being used to target political opponents.

    Nope. No. Nada. Never happened.

It really is, at its core, as is the entire DOD... a socialist institution by design and necessity... to protect something else, that other group, the public.

It'll be interesting to see a clarification. This is likely a rogue nut job with an individual agenda. Soldiers have always been able to donate to whoever they want and practice any religion they want. I just attended by nephews graduation from basic training and he said they went to church, Christians, Jews, Muslims and Wicca services were provided.

I could see a problem with military members attending political rallies in uniform, or giving statements with their rank. The military is meant to be apolitical, and as long as a service member is acting as a private individual, not attempting to give the appearance that their branch has favoritism one way or the other, they can do what they want.

Whoever gave that briefing, if accurately described, is probably messing a butt cheek (metaphorically speaking).
  15. It was a briefing given by a First Army unit- FT Hood is a mob site for USAR and ARNG units. First Army is responsible for training and mobilizing those units (as mandated by Congress). Those Training Support Brigades are comprised of multi component training support battalions. One of those battalions was obviously tasked with conducting that briefing. Ultimately, an individual, likely an NCO, was tasked with giving the brief. I suspect that individual took some creative liberties in updating the brief. Whoola- he/she screwed up. That doesn't mean the "military" established new policies-- as the title of your thread clearly implies.

    Yes, it really is.

Maybe you should look it up some time, and compare with what the DOD presents.
