I have a number of tomahawks, with varying handle materials...wood, cord wrap textured micarta...

I also have a number of tactical blades with micarta handles....

AND, of course, the .40S&W semi-auto w grip panels on the sides already...

Rather than trying to figure out how to generate a good "tacky" grip on them, does anyone have some glove suggestions on gloves that would provide that solid, no-slip tactical grip...???

    Thanks much -

I've had good results Blackhawk tactical gloves for pistol shooting in chilly weather (though they're not made for arctic cold). If you're talking about using gloves to get a better hold on your .40 irrespective of weather, that's the wrong rabbit to chase: the gloves will just reduce your tactile contact with the weapon, and make the finger less sensitive on the trigger and make the grip feel fatter.

For knife and tomahawk advice, I'd steer you to the edged weapons sections in GATE.

    best,
