Scored 8lbs of WSF due to the very kind nature of a good friend. Never loaded WSF before. My recent excursion into the use of the dreaded Unique is that it likes to be run in the low 142 pf range with my Lead 143gr bullets. WSF is a little slower (Oh the Horror for USPSA) then Unique. Anyone have any thoughts of WSF and my 9mm load? I will of course start low, work it up on the chrono etc. Just curios what others have done.

    ALSO

I put the NRA mag in the picture. Can the American Rifleman staff pander to Kimber any harder? A 2MOA rifle as the rifle of the year. Their silly laser 45 as the pistol. Seriously. :faint:

Great score, you are living right.

I don't load a lot of 9mm these days and really don't load a lot of heavy lead in 9mm, but I checked my spreadsheet and the last 147gr lead loads I did with WSF was right at 4gr, came in the mid 130's pf from a G19.

In any case, it won't take you long to get it figured out.

Good buy. I like WSF for 147 gr lead and JHP in 9mm. I've gotten good accuracy in the 3.8 4.0 gr range with 1.135 OAL. With lead, accuracy tended to drop off with lighter loads out of my pistols. With 135 gr lead I haven't had as much luck with getting accurate loads (I probably just haven't worked hard enough).

Obviously, pf is going to depend on your load and your pistol, so just go with the work-up routine.
