    Just OK
I don't like how the screw holes are not the color frame, like they might be coated at the factory. Also, they seemed brighter and shiny...hmmm

    I do like it though!

I think it's because they were used.

I noticed in the video and Gun Broker pictures that the hole were drilled after the gun was finished. When they chamfered the holes it really makes it more noticeable. It seems more of an after though than planned. Maybe they took P88's out of production line then converted them.

Maybe someone can find a picture of the mount.

  5. Brian,

those are not uncommon in Germany. They even have a .22 conversion and a dedicated rimfire gun. There is a guy on the Walther forum that is a dealer in Germany that has an unbelievable Walther collection!!!!!

    He can set you up:wavey:...

True, maybe if the finish wear around the holes was less evident it wouldn't be as bad.

    bac,

Now that you had time to sleep on it I just got to know.

    Did you buy it?

The one in primo condition with the 22 conversion unit just screams "bac collection"!

I meant "go" of course. Or maybe "goo". Either one will suffice.

I actually didn't even notice the typo.

I knew what you meant. :)

  17. I noticed the typo but thought he got overly emotional about the missed opportunity.

    Would be perfectly understandable:supergrin:...

I wouldn't care if those holes are factory or not, they are just hideous. What an incredibly stupid thing to do to a gun.
