Ummmm, normally a Spartan is like $625-50. The RO's around here are normally $750.

Wish they where that around here I tried 2 different shops and both quoted me at 800-950. One of the shops is my normal guy his prices are normally with in 10-30 dollars of Budsgunsonline. No clue why the high mark up in Florida.

I didn't know how much Range Officers where no one with in 50miles can get Spring Fields or has any in stock right now. Except 1 shop and he a joke he has a Spring Field GI for around 850... yes 850 your not reading that wrong. He way over priced anyway on everything. I went in to check on ammo one day and a box of 38special was 40bucks. I think the only thing that keeps him in business is the fact he the only gun range with in 20miles.

The 1911 is my favorite but I wouldn't buy that gun. Why did they blacken the grip safety and other parts? I think that looks like crap but each to his own. I'm going to pick up a Springfield Range Officer. My dealer quoted me $745 and I'm waiting for it to come in.

Ah, the "gouger" word again. Private sector, free market economic principles determine the seller's price.

I am amused by the fact that people feel the need to "report it" to the website. If you think it's overpriced.....don't buy it and move along. If some dumb sh1t doesn't do his homework and overpays...that's his loss. Don't ding the seller for trying to make a buck. :dunno:

Yup. And the same dolts who scream GOUGING doesn't have a problem paying $6.00 for a bottle of water at the airport or $7.00 for a bag of pop corn at the movies.

    Common sense isn't common anymore.
