    http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york...ott-dekuyper-gun-court-date-article-1.1027283

Seems he was appearing for charges stemming from an October 15 Occupy protest event where he tried to rip the badge off of NYPD Chief of Department Joseph Esposito. He had spend time at Zucotti Park last fall.

Now, one story says he said he holds a Delaware carry permit, but in another someone says he doesn't. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/occupier-arrested-for-bringing-gun-to-nyc-court/

He's saying he just forgot the gun was in his backpack.

His attorney said that DeKuyper is recovering from cancer and hinted that they may be looking to see if his disease and his treatment contributed to his alleged forgetfulness.

Y'all have fun with this one...

haha I'm surprised the media didn't claim it was an AK47, or a Glock.

I'm surprised they didn't report it as a street sweeper sawed off shotgun.

Maybe he was just trying to save time. If you get caught in NYC with a gun, you're going to court sooner or later. Might as well get it out of the way immediately... :whistling:

  9. Are you sure the attorney used the words "forgot" and "forgetfulness" and not "mis-remembered?" :whistling:

  10. Obviously a terrorist weapon! Needs to be banned! Assault Derringers are 'favorites' for criminals. If only one life is saved!

  11. You know how the media always gets things wrong. Are we sure it wasn't a 40 of Colt 45 malt liquor?

This guy is a genius. An OWS protester with a wife and 2 kids, battling cancer. Obamacare doesn't kick in for another year and he needs cancer treatment now. Gun violation in NYC = ticket to free healthcare. FTW!

  13. How many idiots can there be in New York? There has been an endless stream of gun stories from the place, lately.
