    It's interesting that I have never met anyone that was in favor of a "assault weapons ban" that knew what the hell an "assault weapon" is.

    I voted. If you asked if they should ban assault baseball bats, these idiots would say yes too. Liberals have no clue.

    Obviously charge cards and the internet should be banned as they played an instrumental part in the Colorado killer getting his weapons and ammo. Maybe cars should be banned also as he used one to get to the movie theatre. Hell I bet he used some sort of an iThing also.

    I can not afford a assault weapon. AR 15's are not assault weapons!

    Amen to that! There are a couple of transferable "assault" weapons at my local shop, a AK for 29,000, a M16 24,000 and a BAR 60,000 I wish I could afford a assault weapon

    After banning pistols and semi auto rifles England is now working on cricket bats and knife buy backs (no kidding) and their crime rate keeps climbing.

    When I visit the in-laws, I really miss having that tiny little LCP in my pocket.

    Absolutely. A shame that the media either can't get that through their heads, or they try to confuse the general public on purpose.

    They are on crack at those prices. Last I looked, transferrable M16s were between 14,000 and 19,000.
