Introduce the fine folks at NCIS to the idea of the LONG gun!!!!

As many gunfights as they are in you figure they would know.

Ummm, the Navy has investigated long gun crimes ever since there was an NCIS.

Or is this a TV show I don't know about?

You haven't missed much. We talk about disconnecting ours every time we realize how much junk is on cable.

NCIS is at least mildly tolerable. And the bad guys always get their butts handed to them.

I just wait to hear people here and other boards talk about what's good then go buy the DVD of the series if it sounds interesting. Whenever I'm near a TV with commercials on I remember why this is an excellent setup for me.

Good plan. Probably costs a lot less than our monthly cable bill.

I posted about a day when there were 6 of us who needed to qualify on M9 (Berettas) and the Army, in its infinite wisdom, sent us out to the range with 3,000 rounds and told us to "come back with only brass."

    -er- Okay.

Called up a buddy from the SF camp (this was on Bragg) and asked him to bring out some shooting stuff that did 9mm. He brought out a handful of MP5s. Yeah, you can go through 30 rounds in a second or two but it's still PAINFUL to load magazines for 3,000 rounds.

I still load magazines with my index fingers and have never used my thumbs to do it since that day. I couldn't move them for about two days.

<---has fire over 1100 rounds of 9mm without stoppin other then to switch to another loaded M9
    <---shudder
