Anybody have suggestions? Which ones are best? Any ones to stay away from? $100 max is my budget.
The Glock light is in your budget. It looks like it "belongs" too.
They retail for $99 but can be found on Ebay for less. OMB Express sometimes has a sale on refurbished ones for $55.
Another light that has more to offer is the Night Ops Xephos (sp?). They are about $150 IIRC.
I absolutely love my Streamlight TLR-1. I ordered it online and got 20 free batteries for about $100. It looks like it was made just for Glocks.
I got a Streamlight TLR 1 LED on Ebay for about $85. Great light - I haven't seen anything better.
My wife has the Glock light and it is also a good light for about $60 or so. Not quite as bright as the TLR, but a lot cheaper.
For under $100, TLR-1. If it was under 200 I'd say X300.
I'm interested, who did you order from?
If a Tac Light is in that range, I'll go buy a laser. BTW, has anyone who owns a taclight with Xenon lamps experience any failures in the lamp due to muzzle blast or shock? I would think an LED would be more resilient to shock than a lamp. Wondering if anyone has any experience in this area before I take a plunge.
I had the XML light and then traded it for "Glock Light" Bought mine used for $60. Kieslers had the Glock lights for $69 I believe at the fall machine gun shoot. I think Buds sells them for under a hundred also.
Glock light is the way to go, very tough and bright. They will also fit the XD, but not the M&P
