    Here in the midwest, it's dry as can be. Many displays by municipalities have been cancelled to avoid a high fire risk. Most neighbors are doing the same (as are we). Normally, I drop a couple benjamins on fireworks. Not this year - too much risk of fire.

    First time in a couple years we will be allowed to have private displays. Big ones are on too.

    Same here in west-central MO. However the NWS is saying that our weather pattern will begin to change next week. We're supposed to be getting lower temps and thunderstorm development starting sometime next week.

    Been a slow spring weather wise, but with the MSF coming in Aug. we can expect some weather between now and then.

    Yup. We usually get your weather within a day. Next week will be much better.
