How many of you going to be at work or volunteering? I know here in MD all the people I know said their stations are having parties of some sort; at my volly house to watch the Ravens game the chief paid for pizza and wings.

I'm going to be at work, but sadly I'll be at a substation.

I should be at work that day but I should get off at 19:15 so who knows. I've worked Super Bowl Sundays in the past and they have never been really that bad. Unless it's a team that I really like I hardly watch the Super Bowl anymore. But now my wife who hates football will watch it for the commercials.

Haha -- I thought you meant you were working AT the Superbowl. I had my sports photographer brain in gear. I know several photographers that are working the game.

    :D

The place I work at has our work party right before the Super Bowl. So no work for me

Oh, I don't expect it to be busier than usual... but I'll a) be on the ambulance, and b) be at the station that has several NH/AL/SNF in the first due. The private ambo company that's supposed to be doing interfacility is most likely going to be short staffed, so I'm looking forward to running all our usual calls and the "high fever to the ER" runs that the privates normally try and pick up.
