Well, likely some of them are PMAers. They have to go through the PAF Flying School. The US Army already had women chopper pilots for years. I heard flying choppers is much harder than fixed-wing, but flying the Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk is allegedly so easy that Blackhawk pilots had to be retrained to fly other types of choppers.

The Soviet Air Force during World War II had some squadrons of women fighter pilots. Some of them even became aces; one had a score of 16 German aircraft before she was shot down and killed.

Those Hueys have been fully refurbished and are virtually brand new. They have upgraded, higher output engines that are resistant to power loss under low altitude/high temperature flight.
