I have windows xp professional. i'm used to working in folders in windows 98. I hate in windows xp if i am moving files around in a folder as soon as i move a file windows will move the next file in the folder to the place that was previously held by the file i just moved. if there a way to turn off this feature?

I've never encountered in my years of computing, the need to have files arranged in a certain order beyond the built in sorting types, like by filename or file type.
