    5.9 :)

    I recently built this-
Intel Core i7 920 with stock cooler (TRUE coming tomorrow)
    Asus P6T Deluxe MB
    12 GB Corsair DDR3 1600 (PC 12800) RAM
2 of 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD
    Sapphire HD4870 1 GB DDR5
    Antec P182 case
    Antec Signature 850w power supply
    Samsung 275T+ 27" 1920x1080 S-MVA LCD monitor
Logitech MX5500 Revolution cordless desktop (I actually really like this)
    Vista Ultimate 64 bit

I'm still getting stuff set up and figured out. I am putting a new cooler on the CPU because I can hardly push what I have now without getting some higher temps. I didn't bother to trade the thermal pad for thermal paste when I installed it initially so that might be part of the problem. I dunno. Hopefully all will be better after the Thermalright is put on there. :)

I built 2 pc's this year and both are 5.6. My hard drives are the things keeping me from a 5.9.

3.4 It is just an all around laptop. The thing that drags the score down is the integrated grapics card. Everything else is good.
Intel Duo core T5450 1.6 GHZ
    3GB DDR2
    2 80GB HDs

The wife's XP box died this morning so tomorrow I'll either buy or build her a new one and it's definitely getting Vista SP1. Hopefully I'll have a good score to post tomorrow evening.

I run my Vista OS on a virtual machine so mine doesn’t have a score available; I get an “unable to complete assessment” dialog. It runs fast, without any issues because the host machine as plenty of power. I run all of my Window OS’s (Win95 to WinServer 08) in virtual pc’s that are hosted on a Windows XP Pro box.

All the programs I've tried so far have had no trouble with 64 bit Vista. Aside from addressing a crap-load of memory, I haven't noticed a difference. I am planning on buying some video editing software soon and it is optimized for 64 bit and multiple cores.

2 TB are because of the plan I posted. HD video takes a ton of room. :)

So far the i7 has been good. It's fast, though the stock CPU cooler sucks. I just put on the Thermalright cooler and it's much better. I previously ran OCCT and it would hit 70 degrees and stop the test after about 2 and a half minutes. I have it running currently and it's at 30 minutes and leveled off at 55 degrees. The only thing I don't like about the cooler is the mount- it allows twisting even after mounting (around probably 2 degrees or so). While the thermal paste I used is non-curing, I don't really like having it move if I bump it.

    All 5.9's.

Q9450, Intel DP35DP board, 4 gigs of common Crucial ram, decently fast hard drive (I don't remember which), and a 9600GT/512MB somethingorother video card IIRC.

It's a local storefront build; my third from these guys and I usually keep each one for 4 or 5 years. My last one had a P4 2.4 processor.

Oh, and a FiOS 20/5 connection. Quite a step up from dial-up. :)

    Well, my system is 100% non-custom out-of-the-box with a score of 2.3

    Lower is better ... right?

Now all you have to do is work on that cutsie little clock, the use of Internet Explorer, and the use of myspace and you'll be all set. :)
