Many a LEA thought the same thing back in the late 80's and early 90's when the FBI went with the Win 147JHP OSM subsonic 9mm only to discover the hard way that this load (and other 147 subsonics made by Federal and Remington) were very erratic performers and had many over penetrations in real human beings.
Just because the FBI and the rest of the jello shooters say something works in the labs and in field tests doesn't mean that it will work the same in real world shootings involving real human beings.
People often stray from the topic in these threads.
That fugly looking and horribly inconsistent Winchester Ranger rifle ammo I recently posted is from this year.
Winchester quality control sucks ass. Period.
