For survival food on a deserted Island, Maybe. Or as a can of somethin that could make the trip to mars, Maybe. Feed Marines, Maybe. But for the meal of the day, around here, Nope. Ain't goin ta do it. PB And J man here. Washed down with a cold glass of 2% Milk.
OH wait. Spam gets used as a Carving material too. Add that as a maybe also. LOL

Now that fresh veggies are available, I'd make a Spam sandwich lots of lettuce and lots of tomatoes with Miracle Whip or Mayo.
If onions are used, I'd use Mustard instead of Miracle Whip or Mayo.

On that note, Spam fried in a pan using olive oil with some Mac/cheese and Van Camps Pork & Beans. The diferent tastes seem to complement each other. Best Spam I ever had though was made by a friend of mine. He made it pan seared with after it was marinated in pineapple juice for a while. He also would bake it like a regular ham with some molasses and cinamon sprinkled on. Of course this is something you would never cook for a woman coming over for a dinner date to your house.

Hey I live in Philadelphia and if I invited a Kennsington, Port Richmond or Fish Town woman over she would marry me for a spam dinner:rofl:
