Went outside and saw 3 wild turkeys roaming around the back yard:wow:
They didnt even care i was there, not even in a hurry to get away from me.
Found out later my neighbor has been feeding them corn.I can get within 8-10 feet of them before they trot away. They come around several times a week now

Come to Wichita, they seem to be everywhere... One was foraging around in the parking lot next to the KFC when I was getting chicken last night... Hmmm maybe it was Kentucky Fried Turkey.....

one winter a few years ago I had 11 turkeys hanging around my house. After a few days I couldnt stand the sight of these things. they would come onto my porch and crap everywhere. I got to the point when I came home from work I could see them on my porch from the road. I would floor my pickup down my driveway towards them and they would all fly away. after a few months they just figured they were not wanted and left.
