Was hiding in the attic for who knows how many years. I had never seen it before, and it was a bit dirty, so I took it down, cleaned it up, and it's back to it's apparent former glory. Beautiful gun, Browning Invector Plus Citori Special Steel 20ga.

  2. Where did it come from and how did it end up in the attic?

Wow, nice to have found it. Those things use to be $1200-$1400 bucks, probably a lot more now. If someone would have misplaced that much cash they'd have probably took the house apart to find it. So, is she going to keep it or sell it to get into something else?

She's had it since she was a kid, it just got lost in the shuffle along the way.

Gonna keep it, can't wait to go shoot it again this summer.

That would be one sweet little dove gun. Use to hunt doves quite a bit when I lived in AZ. but I don't even know where to go here in Tennessee and don't have anyone to go with either. Congrats on finding it. Bet you feel like a kid at Christmas, I know I would.

:wow: Damn, that thing is in beautiful condition for having it so long and being stored in an attic and forgotten.

Dusty outside, gritty crap in the action, lots of fouling in the bores. No idea how it cleaned up so nice, the action is smooth as silk and the bores are literally mirror bright. The wood has a few very minor marks, but the finish is still outstanding.

Wow, I cant believe their wasn't any corrosion after being in an attic for so long. I had the luxury of cleaning gutters and replacing a broken attic fan today. The humidity in my attic would have killed a gun left in there.

It's a partially finished attic, and the area has very low humidity to begin with. I'm still amazed at it's condition.
