Okay, don't butcher me but, I am gassing for a set of Ivory or Silver punisher grips otherwise, I am up in the air about what I would like...

I DO know I want to put the pierce wrap around finger grips on it as I have small hands and that helped me control my 1911 a ton (kimber pro carry II)

Any thoughts, recommendations for a "Back in the badlands" 1911 carry piece?

if they are good enough for the good ol' usmc, they are good for me (mc operator with pachmayr grips). they are comfortable grips and are supposed to work well in all weather conditions and not be slippery when wet:

What is your definition of "best"?

It's like asking who makes the "best" toilet paper. My best might be your worst.

I like rapping my hand around these rap-around grips, and the big red triangle sure impresses the lookie lews that know what it means.

    Depends on where I am.
    "Best?"

Best for what, and for whom?

My favorite is natural horn of unicorn engraved with the profile of John Browning's third wife.
